I'm reserving judgement on this one until I read the two sequels, which are impossible to find as yet. I enjoyed it, and loved the setting, but this felt very inconclusive.--Tanya (30 Jul 99)
This book is part of a trilogy. The setting is similar to that of Arthurian legend and the stories have the same celtic roots but the characters are not Arthurian. I enjoyed the whole trilogy, and the related one, very much but was not caught up in them as much as I expected. I think this may be because the author doesn't get fully involved with her characters so there is a touch of coldness about them. Each trilogy has a romance that lasts through all 3 books and there are a couple of other romances as well.--Margaret (15 Oct 00)
