Working from three...

I hadn't read the Chepatis and have put it on my list. Marley hasn't been someone I cared for in the past.

I've read one, seen all of them except the Chepeatis and was not interested in picking up the others

This is too funny. I'm one of clear majority who'd only read one of the books. But before I feel too guilty, I bet most reader/viewer/listener award voting works this way.

Well, I think Rebekah was awfully clever to expand on my suggestion and her last two categories are a hoot.

The voting confirmed my suspicions and that's why I give very little credibility to "reader/viewer/listener awards" unless humongous numbers of people vote (e.g. the Hugos).

The Pearl awards are the worst 'cause they have 5 or 6 categories. Each category takes up a page and you can't go on to the next page unless you vote. There is no "skip" button!! I'm sure lots of people are voting in categories in which they haven't read even *one* book. It makes the whole award completely meaningless.
