Sebastian by Anne Bishop

Ok, I'm suggesting this for a review only because I want to know what other people are thinking about this book. I usually like Bishop's stuff, but I'm struggling with this one a lot. Is it just me? Should I give it another chance?

I felt the same when reading it...I thought perhaps things would pick up in the 2nd book, but it didn't.  I dislike Belladonna more then Sebastian, it just seemed like the whole book was killing time....

Smiley I loved both Sebastian and Belladonna and in fact they became my favorite Anne Bishop books. I find the Dark Jewels too dark though for my personal taste. I also really liked her "Pillars of the World" trilogy.

One thing about Sebastian/Belladonna I did have trouble with was wrapping my mind around the World and the changing places. I finally starting thinking of it kind of like a dream- where you move from one scene to another without transition.
